Funding

I want my physiotherapy services to be as accessible and transparent as possible for every family I support. On this page, you’ll find information about different funding and payment options, including private health rebates, Medicare plans, NDIS support, and self-funded sessions. If you’re unsure which option applies to you, I’m happy to guide you through the process.

NDIS

If you are self managed or plan managed through NDIS you can opt to have your Physiotherapy services provided by Melbourne Baby and Children’s Physiotherapy. We charge the current NDIS rates for both plan and self-managed participants.

Self Funded

The total cost of service is self funded by the family.

Medicare

Medicare rebates are available (for a maximum of 5 allied health sessions) if your child has a GP management plan for Chronic Disease Management and/or a Team Care Arrangement Plan. This needs to be arranged with your GP prior to your first appointment.

The medicare rebate does not cover the total cost of our service and hence there is an out of pocket expense.

Private Health Insurance

If you have private health insurance with extras cover, you may be able to claim a rebate for physiotherapy services. Please check with your health fund to confirm your level of cover before your appointment.
