About Me
Simone Maher - Director & Senior Physiotherapist
I have over 15 years experience working with infants and children, across a range of paediatric conditions, ages and sub-specialities. However, I particular enjoy supporting the motor development and wellbeing of infants and young children under the age of 5. I have enjoyed working across a number of acute hospital settings, including the Royal Children’s Hospital and Monash Children’s Hospital, and I am currently the senior Physiotherapist in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at The Mercy Hospital for Women.
I am passionate about providing home, community(childcare, kinder, school, parks and playgrounds) and clinic appointments in my local area. Working in your child’s natural environment enhances opportunities for learning, skill development and meets best practice principles for motor learning.
When I am not working you will find me outdoors with my partner and three young boys or having some downtime with a good book.
